With all the Candystand billiards games that are available right now players will have no problem finding pool related games that keep them entertained for hours on end. Although these online games are no substitute for actual billiards, they are a fun way to pass time and provide a surprisingly realistic style of play. The angles that are used to pocket the balls and the way in which the cue ball travels and rests is very close to an actual billiards game. Wether players are at work, home or no where near an actual billiards table they can at least enjoy these online versions of the game.

This site has six options of play for billiards which include: 8 ball, 9 ball, Billiards, Billiards Classic, Pow Pool and Straight pool. All these games have the same basic controls utilizing the computer mouse to aim your shot and determine the amount of speed that the ball will travel. The only game that is different from the others is Pow Pool. Although the basic concept of this game is the same as all the others, the balls are represented by bombs and must be pocketed before they explode. Because this game is set up on a timed limit, it adds to the intensity of the overall game that may not be found in the other versions.

No matter what version of the game you choose to try, just remember that the objectives remain the same. For example, 8 ball is a one or two player game in which you must pocket your own set of balls before your opponent. Straight pool allows for a one player or two player mode with the winner being the first to pocket 25 balls on the table. The high score contest is a one player mode game in you sink as many balls as possible without missing.

The control of the Candystand billiards games is easy and similar through all of its games. Simply use the mouse to move the courser to aim, hold the mouse button to determine the amount of speed for the shot and release to execute the shot. The game also provides different shot backgrounds for player one (yellow) and player two (red) to make it easier to follow. No matter the version of game that you choose to play it’s highly likely that you will enjoy it for a while.
