Usually Candystand ping pong games bring to mind the table top version of the sport that is found in basements and garages throughout the country. However, this site provides an other classic “ping”and ‘pong” that is just as popular and easily adapts to online gaming. There are two versions of pinball on the Candystand site that provide a colorful and interactive display along with the classic sights and sounds that are found in gaming arcades of the past.

One of the games called Water Park Pinball, gives an alternatively unique spin on the classic version of pinball. However, the basic concept remains the same in that you need to keep the ball in play as long as possible to obtain the highest score possible. The game starts off by awarded each player (up to two players can play) with four games and five balls in each game. Unlike many of the games on this site, the primary use of control with this game is achieved by the keyboard. The “spacebar” allows players to put the ball into play by holding it down and releasing it. The “Ctrl” key operates the left flipper and the “Shift” key operates the right flipper. Bonus points are awarded by hitting different items throughout the screen such as: five fruit targets, each of the WATER PARK letters and each of the LIFE SAVERS letters.

The other pin ball game which is called Mixing Factory Pinball has the same basic concept. This multi player game uses the same method of controls as Water Park Pinball, but it delivers different sights and sounds. Striking each letter in the Candy and Creme Savers logo will award points. One feature unique to this version of pinball is the mixing bowl in the upper left corner of the screen. If you are able to hit the mixing bowl all subsequent targets within that strike will be worth anywhere from one to five times their value in points.

While this version of Candystand ping pong may have only been found in smokey arcades of the past, modern online gamers can enjoy it in the comfort of their homes.
